The Prince of Peace

Akiane tells us "He is Risen"

through her Resurrection Painting of Jesus

The painting you see here is titled "The Prince of Peace", and is also known as the "Resurrection Painting of Jesus”. It is described in detail in Akiane's biography below. This 21st century miracle was inspired by God and confirmed by Colon Burpo in "Heaven is for Real". The Shroud of Turin also shows the 2000 year old image of what many believe to be the face of Jesus. Akiane created this masterful portrait of Jesus when she was just 8 years old after many personal encounters with the risen Christ. She tells us Jesus inspired her to paint both Father Forgive Them (Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane) and Prince of Peace (Jesus Resurrected) to help people visualize His love and be able to relate to Him personally by seeing his face. Akiane's experiences and gifting are so unusual, that for over a decade she has been invited to share her heavenly experiences and inspired paintings globally. Akiane, now 21, often describes herself as a “Visionary Journalist” reporting with paint on canvas as to what she sees both here and in the spirit realms. Akiane loves to travel and has visited over 30 over countries and cultures around the world. Recently Akiane, and the Kramarik family of 7, returned to America after 2 years of touring Europe and Australia. There they enjoyed exploring the beauty and culture of “The Land Down Under” while Akiane continued to paint daily using smaller than usual canvases (more about that next month). True to her original calling at age 4, Akiane says: "If I have been gifted by God ... it is for one reason only ... to help others". Here's how Art & SoulWorks gives to help others ...

Love, Nature, Poverty - Akiane’s Early Years

Akiane’s life began in an unusual way; she was delivered in an underwater birth in a shack on the edge of a cornfield near Chicago on July 9th 1994. Her mother, Foreli, a teacher from Lithuania, and her father Mark, a cook from Chicago, were young and struggling parents with 2 young boys when Akiane was born. The family had no close friends, no relatives, no television or radio - their life was quite simple - long walks in nature, open conversations and home-schooling in a very nurturing environment. They were loving, idealistic and, poor: Akiane's mother - an atheist, her father - agnostic. Spiritual matters never discussed. Giving thanks at the table and bedtime prayer were not part of their life! But that was about to change ...

Love, Nature, Poverty - Akiane’s Early Years

To an Atheist Jesus is a Nightmare

Naturally, Akiane’s family was mystified when, at age 4, she began describing her visions of God, Jesus, Angels and Heaven. The photo above is of Akiane and her mother about that time. Soon Akiane's family realized that Jesus was very real and that He was the resurrected Christ ... yet before converting to Christianity, Akiane’s mother has often said “to an atheist Jesus is a nightmare!” Gradually Akiane’s days became consumed with painting and writing as told in the autobiography - Akiane, her art, her life, her poetry – at the same time, her mother recorded journal after journal of Akiane’s experiences. Soon Akiane‘s pencil and charcoal sketches filled the house. By age 6 she was painting in acrylics, then oils. At age 7 she suddenly began writing extraordinary poetry. At the age of 8 this young prodigy, equipped with her visions, paintbrush and ladder, completed the 4 foot tall oil painting, her portrait of Jesus titled, “Prince of Peace - The Resurrection Painting of Jesus” - known as her first masterpiece.

The World discovers Little Lithuanian Girl Painting Jesus

Prince of Peace gained global attention as “the child prodigy who painted the portrait of Jesus” began making regular appearances on prime-time . TV and radio shows including TBN, The Hour of Power, World News Tonight, Good Morning America, the Glen Beck Show, The View, Fox News, the Montel Williams Show, Oprah, the Late Show, and CNN. By age 9 Akiane Kramarik had completed “Father Forgive Them” a panting showing Jesus lifting up the world in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane - that year Akiane was inducted into the Children’s Hall of Fame. To Date, Akiane has painted 7 pictures of Jesus from birth to His Resurrection. As Akiane continues to seek and share His face, we get a glimpse of the divine!

When You Said, Seek Ye My Face;
My Heart Said Unto Thee "Thy Face Lord Will I Seek"
Psalms 27:8

Scholars and scientists around the world have marveled at the similarities between Akiane's “Prince of Peace” painting and the crucified face seen in the Shroud of Turin (believed by millions to be the burial cloth of Jesus). Akiane’s portrait of Jesus is believed by many to represent the real face of Jesus Christ.

The 4 images below begin with the face seen in the Shroud of Turin and include progressive degrees of transparency ending with Prince of Peace as painted by Akiane.

Years passed and during her teens and Akiane began to notice that her heavenly visions were becoming less frequent ... she continued rise early each morning at 3:00 and paint yet she intuitively recognized that God was asking her to develop her faith and to trust him at a deeper level than ever ... with fewer and fewer visions.

But Wait … God Was Not Finished!

Simultaneously another story was developing as 4 year old Colton Burpo underwent emergency surgery for a burst appendix. Several years after Colton’s recovery he identifies “Prince of Peace” as the Jesus he was with in Heaven during his operation.

Over the next few years, Colton revealed many more details of his experience to his friends and family - eventually a book was written - becoming a best-seller. Tucked deep inside the pages of the "Heaven is for Real" book along with other pictures of people Colton saw in while in Heaven there was a small picture of ‘Prince of Peace” – as though God passed the torch to the Burpo Family to continue to share Jesus the “Prince of Peace’ with the world. In the picture below, you see Colton and Akiane meeting for the first time on TV during the Katie Couric Show.
More About Heaven.

“Heaven is For Real” Miracle

“Heaven is For Real” Miracle

The demand for information about “Prince of Peace”, Heaven and the little Lithuanian girl who painted Jesus increased dramatically with the release of Thomas Nelson’s non-fiction book written by Colton's father, Todd Burpo. Through what many call a miracle in publishing, the book titled “Heaven is for Real - A Little Boy's Astounding Trip to Heaven and Back” immediately rose to the top of the NYT #1 Bestseller list and is now available in over 40 languages. Last year T.D. Jakes & Sony Pictures produced the movie “Heaven is for Real” - God continues to reveal Jesus to the world through “Prince of Peace” in ways only He could imagine.

Heaven Is Real

Despite the diabolical interference created with the release of a similar book by Alex Malarkey - who recanted his story as a lie - Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo is still on of the best selling books about heaven that has ever been sold online. The wonderful truth is that "Heaven Is Real and Jesus is the Prince of Peace". Thanks to God's great plan for Akiane and Colton and their families, millions more people now recognize the Heaven is for Real Face of Jesus as the authentic portrait of the resurrected, Jesus Christ!
